Ubisoft Internship Game: SHINE


In the spring of 2013, I worked on a student game with 36 other students from Canada and Vermont. I served as the Creative Director on the project and was responsible for creating a tightly scoped, yet impressive game within an 8 week production period. The experience was something truly special as it was not only a blend of culture but also amazing talent.

SHINE is a tight little fantasy-set 3rd person stealth exploration game built in Unreal 3. It starts a creature named Gama, who becomes locked in a mysterious temple with no way out. Players need to navigate the dangers of a dark environment using only Gama’s intuition and spell that can temporarily light the way. Check out the trailer below or download the game here.
